Fuck you, Symantec

Symantec has just written another proof-of-concept Mac “virus.”

The sick joke here is that there are no Mac OS X viruses. None. Not a single one. Anywhere. Never has been. These proof-of-concepts are being made by Symantec — the same deceitful, dishonest, money-grubbing fucked up assholes who write anti-virus software — in order to make it seem like there’s some kind of immediate, pending threat (which there is not) so that they can sell you their “anti-virus” software which does absolutely nothing but ruin your Mac. What a crock.

You want some real advice? Don’t use any anti-virus software at all. Ever. All you need to do in order to protect yourself from the potential of a future threat is turn on the OS X firewall and show a little prudence towards spam emails and third-party downloads. Don’t give those lying Symantec whores your money and don’t ruin the stability of your system by loading it with their worthless, resource-starving anti-nothing bullshit.

I don’t even respect these bitches enough to tell their side of the story, that they’re “trying to do a service” to the blah, blah, blah…. Fuck them, they’re liars. They should be class-actioned by a shock of shit-head lawyers back into the foul cesspool from which they came, and then defecated upon by a sick Wampa.

So far as I’m concerned, Symantec’s proof-of-concepts aren’t warnings, they’re threats — buy us or else!

Fuck them.
